About Us:
The Pioneer Museum was built in 1970 with $45,000 of donated money, gathered by the Valley County Historical Society. The huge efforts and influence from many talented people made this museum possible. Our theme is " From Dinosaur Bones to Moon Walk ." The jet in front is a T-33 Trainer, placed here in 1968. It was a gift to the city of Glasgow from the U.S. Airforce base when the base was located north of the city. The lots around the museum have equipment from early days such as farm machinery, vintage tractors, and even a caboose from the Great Northern Railway.
